I’m Kathleen, wife, mom of 4, urban homesteader and sonographer who has a passion for feeding my family timeless meals, even though I don’t love cooking. The purpose of this blog is to share recipes that my family loves and are not intimidating to make. I love to make homemade meals accessible and to teach people how to use what we have in creative ways.
Since we started producing things on the farm, I have found myself asking questions like “What am I going to do with 80lbs of carrots?” or “What am I going to do with another 4 gallons of blackberries?”. You can only eat so much of the same things. This bounty, which truly is a blessing can feel like anything but a blessing in the moment. Especially when you add all the craziness of life with jobs, school, kids and animals.
